I just had reunion party with friends last saturday, here's photos.

Since I've been jobless for a while.. I've decided to do some watercolor paintings before dying of boredom. I finished some paintings but I wasn't happy with them much- the colors weren't vivid as I would like them to be..

As I remembered my friend showed me an interesting paint before, I tried searching for it. This paints got effect like watercolor but even more vivid and vibrant. I don't know how it's called in English though, but it seemed nice choice to try..

So I went out yesterday to the store near my university to buy it, took almost whole day - -' (The paint is pretty rare but not too expensive- around 7-8$ per book).

Here it is



How to use it? Just tear it in a piece..


The colors on the front of papers aren't real colors, if you want to check what color you're using you have to check it on the back.)

Then, put it in a water~ (or put water on it?)

Now it's ready to use!



As you can see how vivid color is XD Its reminded me of Chinese paper cutting style<3<3
And this is finished version.


The colors are even more vivid after scanned o_o'' it took around 4-5 hours working on this piece, still faster than I thought.

I'm going to New york state and live there around 3 months for working as camp counselor. It would be the VERY new experience for me coz they seem not allow ppl. to use internet as much as we want. And I never be apart from pc. more than a week since the first time I got my own (which was around 10 years ago).

Now I must confess that I couldnt imagine how can I live there without it T_T~

However, this journey will be good experience for me.. My task is teaching children around 7-17 years old to draw & paint in Fine art department.

It must be great to work among foreign artists! I just cant wait to see their paintings.

I will leave here on 1st June and start working about a week later.

The camp's called Frenchwood. Feel free to visit me there if any of you could manage it. XD

First try for oil pastel(metallic one).It doesnt turn out as I wanted.But I did my best anyway..

Guess I will use it to paint landscape next time.The color may be match better. =D
